Thank you for your interest in Burkett Images. Most of the images you will find in our collection are of vintage or racing cars photographed at the many tracks found throughout Florida, including Sebring International and Daytona International Speedway.

As a long time photographer and writer, Jim Burkett genre includes images from local zoos and American nature to coverage of the 'Earthrace' boat and the 2008 Canadian Olympic Kayak team.

As the staff photographer for the magazine 'What's Hot Tampa Bay?', his photos can be viewed monthly through this publication which include fashion and health along with community and sporting events around the St. Pete and Tampa Bay areas. Some of his short stories can be read by clicking on the titles found to the left on this page.

His photos have been distributed worldwide and have appeared on The Discovery Channel website and in hundreds of newspapers and magazine publications. Some photos can be seen in the National Geographic galleries.
